Making Decisions(draft one)

Growing up means making my own decisions. In fact, we make decisions every day, such as choosing socks in the morning and eating dinner at night. As time passing by, the decisions we have own opinion and not to depend on others again. Absolutely, we should be responsible for any decisions we made.


The hardest decision that I ever made was whether I attend the English speech contest. In my junior high school, my teacher encouraged me to attend it. At the time, I firmly believed that I couldn't make it, because I had a great fear of speaking in public. When I was hesitant about it, my friends helped me to build up my confidence. Therefore, I had enough courage to face it. Although, I didn't win the first prize, I have overcame this fear. I am glad to made this decisions. I thought taht the reward is enormous.

Computers play a more and more important role in modern life. We use them to control the daily work of our electrical appliances like washing machines and TV sets. A teacher can teach students without writing on the blackboard. Therefore, he won't waste a lot of time. Also, he can use it to prepare test sheets. A captain can use the computer to fly a plane by itself. Consequently, the event of air crash can be decreased. A weatherman can use the computer to predict the weather condition more precisely. It has been widely used in many fields.

Personally, I have a like for computer. It saves our time and we can used the remaining time doing other things. When there is no computer, I have to handwrite my assignments and my projects. Computer helps me do my assignments like surfing on the net and exchanging ideas with others. Besdies, through the computer, I can get information from all over the world in a moment. It also entertains me like watching movies, playing games and listening to music. Computer makes my life more colorful and makes me happy.
