I treasure my school life very much. I feel I have learned a lot of things, including all aspects of knowledge, how to cooperate with fellow students, and how to take good care of my health.Among the school subjects, I love English best. I first started to learn English when I was eleven years old.Before that, I didn't have any experience in learning English. So, as a subject, English was relatively new to me.I was afraid of making mistakes in the beginning. However, after constant practice, I made a lot of progress.One day, I communicate with an apostle from English. After a few minutes talk, he said, "Your English is very good!"I was very happy, because it was a proof of my English ability. Now, I no longer fear speaking to foreigners.



My aim is to make good use of English at my work and enjoy talking with poreigners. Be good at English is a basic mental ability. I'll do my best to improve my English and find more knowledge in English. It is not easy to master this language, but"victory belongsto the most persevering". I deeply believe that I will achieve my goal.

Autobiography (draft 2)

I am Wen-Lin Yang. Lynn is my English name. I was born in Tainan country and have lived here for seventeen years. Strawberries are a specialty of my hometown. I love my hometown dearly. I grow up in a well-to-do family. My father is a devoted husband and has done so much for our family. He never forces us to do things we don't like. He encourages us to make our own decisions. My father certainly has a great influence on me. Serious in appearance but kind at heart, my mother is the person that I respect the most. She often teches me how to tell right and wrong apart and encourages me to read more books to expand my horizons. I have one sister and one bother; both of them are students. We like to share a lot of interesting things at dinner. This is my family, simple but lovely. I feel blessed to grow in this happy faimly.

I am optimistic by nature, and always wear a smile. I like to make friends and I am always willing to give others a helping hand. In my opinion, helping others is a source of happiness. Like most high school students in Tainan, I am loaded down with heavy schoolwork. Sometimes I feel under a lot of pressure. However, I still try to play my role well. But I don't want to study all day and become a bookworn. In my free time, I am fond of watching movies. It can truely reflect the experience of life and evoke my thought. In addition, I also like to develop other interests, such as playing basketball and volleyball. Besides, going mountain climbing would be my favorite activity on holidays. Movies and sports help me maintain good mental and physical health.
